hmm
im not excited about this shot.
i would suggest maybe a crop of some sort and less contrast..??
i wish there was more detail in its hair-and i think its there its maybe just too bright.. i dunno
cute dog

Hmm, I gotta disagree with you there asher. It doesn't look bright to me at all and not over contrasty either - actually kind of grey. I do think the chair leg is quite distracting though. Would he sit still for you if you were maybe holding a treat where he could see it?

Thanks the comments!!

He wasnt my dog. He was found on the street somewhere, and my friends sister brought him over to eat and get water before taking him home (which was over an hour away)

He was kinda freaked by the camera, and all the people so it was hard to get any shot of him. He had fallen asleep and I was trying to get one of him sleeping, but of course he woke up....but he was groggy enough he didnt get up right away. :P

The rest of them came out as white blurs....haha!

well im not sure what to say. it depends just how much angle i put my laptop screen at.
i do tend to prefer some stuff darker.
i think its his paws and the floor that give a grey feeling.
if i compare the bright face hair to the background it seems very contrasty.

was this shot in color?
if so i wonder what it looks like in color.

I know what you mean about the lap top screen angle. Sometimes I question whether I'm editing a photo right because a slight tilt changes my perception of the exposure.
