Nice shot! Even though they look black most of the time, I've noticed that if Crows and Grackles are caught in the right light, they are iridescent and have beautiful colors.

Even though they look black most of the time, I've noticed that if Crows and Grackles are caught in the right light, they are iridescent and have beautiful colors.

It's said that there's no true black in nature, and when we get to see the various "black birds" in good light, we can tell. They're all beautiful, some are just very muted in color.
