Gorgeous set Joel!
#1 your DOF and exposure is spot on, it looks like I can reach out and touch the water. I'm a little iffy on the framing, the subject being bottom left corner seems a bit awkward with the top of the one on the right cut off. Perhaps portrait orientation would have helped.
#2 is beautifully delicate, you captured them very nicely! I've tried with these ones and haven't got it yet, well done :)
#3 is the front petal blown? It looks blown on my laptop but less so on my ipod lol so it may or may not be ;)
#4 love your choice in DOF. Nice bokeh too :)
#5 same as 2, were you at the greenhouses or did you spend a bunch of time on the ground? Nicely captured.
#6 Neat! the bug is a wonderful find! You captured the translucence of the petals very nicely. Would love to see different DOF's on this one :)

Judi, thanks so much for taking the time for the great CC. Picture one isn't a crop, it was actually a weird composition. In other words I just screwed it up. I'll have to re-edit picture 3. It does look somewhat blown out, but I think it's how I processed it. there was just no strong, contrasty light to cause it.

I took all these pictures at a local nature preserve. Every picture was taken outside. That's how soft and diffused the lighting was.

In picture 6, do you feel there isn't enough Bokeh, or too much ?

You are quite welcome :)
In 6 your focus is hitting the stamens and really making them pop, your bokeh is gorgeous. I would like to see a shot with the focus hitting the front of the flowers and the bug, a nice deep DOF getting the whole flowers/bug so the eye can wander a bit to find the details and would love to see closeups of the one flower with the bug ;)
