Any beer stein experts?

My grandfather has two beer steins. One of which is from Germany after WW2. It's a very cool beer stein and the artwork is still in excellent conditions. Colors are vibrant and it as an ornate cover for it.

I was wondering if anyone had experience with beer steins and what they might be worth. This one in particular was between 1904 and 1907 I'm assuming judging by the date on it.

14th panzer company is what the number applies to I believe

Kaiser Wilhelm appears in the bottom of the stein when you hold it up to the light.

I love antiques and history. So this is very intriguing to me. He also has a stein from the 1890s. It depicts the first rowing team in Boston on the Charles river. I can take photos of this as well if anyone would like to see.

Being of part German ancestry, I manage to translate the meaning on the cup. It says. " If you are the caretaker of this mug. and you know an Old Hippy on line.
Send the mug to him, and you will have many years gooden luckin. Later Ed

sorry,Tyler...I thought it said beer stains,I thought "GREAT...I CAN HELP!!".It certainly is beautiful,but pales in comparison to Schulz & Dooley.J/k....hope you do find out more info.BTW I think Ed is leading you on....gooden lucken?????

I knew german words were long, but I never knew they could say so much with so few words! :lol:

Haha. Thank you. I hope I can find more info about it too. Next week, I'll be bringing a camera to take photos of his antiques. He also has a laminated steel hunting shotgun with lots of ornate etchings and the two hammers are actually dog heads. It's a beautiful piece. Stay tuned for photos of that.
