Hey,
I'm hardly thinking about buying the new MacbookPro 15".
At the moment I'm a Windows-User and don't know much about Mac.
So I would have to learn a lot about the new OS when goin for it......

I ask you now for your experiences with the post-production program "Aperture".
On my Windows-PC I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS2 and that's all I know about post-production.

Does anyone use Aperture for Mac, especially Version 1.1 for the Intel-Based Mac?

Is it easy-to-learn, adobe-level-production, or just not that good?

Would be very happy about comments........

best wishes
Pat

Aperture is a great tool for managing images. It is not a replacement for Photoshop, yet.

When you are getting the Mac, just have your Photoshop CS2 license transferred. It'll cost you only about 10-15 USD. They'll send you the CD for the mac platform.

For specific info on Aperture, this can be a good bookmark.
