Where am I now?
I just heard that French police have lost track of a bag containing plastic explosives. It was being used to train sniffer dogs at Charles de Gaulle airport. They think it has probably been loaded on to a 'plane.
A spokesman said 'there is almost no chance of the stuff exploding..'
It's that 'almost' that gets me!

And this one is even funnier

most police folks are alright actually

but yes, as with any job, some folks shouldn't be in the business.

I was a civil servant in a former life. I do everything in triplicate!

I know what you mean. I'm a civil servant now .... under new efficient government regulations we only do things once in my dept. Which means that we now do everything three times more slowly

What do you want for low paying and everything the police have is bought from the lowest bidder.

Wow! DO you work where no mistakes are ever made.

Baseball player $18 million a year.

Police officer $38,000 a year.

The fault is yours, entertainment is more important to the people than security..... just something to think about.

The job sucks and everyone hates you would own nothing if it were not for the police because someone would take it from you.. unless you have your own army.....

We were actually amused by the irony of the situations - not laughing at the police.
You need to develop that all important sixth sense ;-)

Hey look! That girl is throwing up under my tent!

I have the sixth sense. I just lack the others.
