Harvestman, I am not very pleased with this but it is the only harvestman I have seen for some time. I have not seen many photos on flickr either - I wonder if this weather related.

They are in Colombia - although you have so many bigger and more attractive insects (strictly speaking they are not insects), that you probably don't notice them (I probably wouldn't either if I were you) but in the UK in winter you notice everything - there is not much to see .

There are only two photos of springtail in Colombia on flickr AFAIK and both are by me!
