We found many of these Atlas moth (Attacus sp.) caterpillars at night. Singapore.

So I took my MP-E65 out for a spin yesterday after leaving it in the drybox for more than a year. Really rusty . Here's a paper wasp guarding her eggs and pupae. Shot at around 2X only. MP-E65, MT-24EX and concave diffuser. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Ropalidia sp. ID credit: Rob Longair, Doug Yanega.

It's snowing in the winter, but you can still find bugs! Just kidding. Cute little lantern bug nymph (Zanna terminalis). Probably 2nd instar? Malaysia.

It's getting really hard to find new adjectives to describe your work. These are all simply amazing. I particularly like the blue bee.
