Assorted Mushrooms

It was mostly shady where I went to shoot these mushrooms, so I brought a reflector to find some light. These shots are D800, Nikon 105mm f/2.8. Hand held. They are focus stacked, ranging from four to nine stacked images in each shot.

Thanks Jeff. I think all of these may be funny, as in: "Ha Ha you just ate poison" funny,
but not funny like, "find the meaning of life in a dripping faucet" funny

All look good but #2 and 4 appeal to me more than the others. It's the differences in lighting and background that do it.

I like these, unusual subject and DOF makes it interesting, but for me the colours take the cake they look fantastic
