Attack of the dragonfly!

These pics are of my dog. He's swimming in a lake "rescuing" a tennis ball from certain drowning when suddenly a dragonfly approached and landed.

How cute...did he lose the ball in his mouth when the dragon fly landed on his head or did he continue swimming?

He kept swimming but paused a second to look at me like, "do something!" Lol then swam on.
