Everything in the pic is real. Just manual focused on the leaves first and exposed for them a little, then the second image focus on the moon and expose properly for it. layer them in photoshop.

So, it IS a composite. Nothing wrong with that of course, it's the only way you'd be able to take a photo like this though.
