B-day is a week away but I had a friend call this morning asking me to shoot a house that he is listing. I've been looking at ultra wide lenses just for this and landscape but haven't pulled the trigger because of all the choice and my lack of money.
Well I went to the local camera store this morning with intent to rent one for 3-days. Well they had a Sigma 15-30mm f/3.5-4.5 EX Aspherical IF and the price was really good. I shot a few test images as I thought about it. After thinking, I decided to trade in my nifty fifty and get it. When I got home to confess to my wife, she was actually understanding and then said it could be for my birthday next week. SCORE!! Here are a some shots from near the shop where I HAD to stop and shoot with it. Got lucky and got a train as it was passing through town.
1) Yukon's best flour plant. It's an icon in Yukon, OK.

2) Cropped in tighter (in post) and converted to B&W.

3) The full building from what seemed like right underneath or next to it.

4) Then the train came through town.

5) With all the smoke and just a little further down the tracks.
