I like it - some nice strong blacks and whites. I would have liked to see a somewhat deeper DOF, to put the whole skate into focus (while leaving the background out). Varying the focus along the skate suggests that there is an aspect of the skate which should be getting my attention, but I can't tell what that is.

I agree...I feel like I'm missing the focus of the picture...possibly there is just too much going on...I love the idea though...and the black and white is great.
