I like, very well focused. One thing I would consider is to crop it in some way because there is a lot of negative space in the bottom right!

Composition looks good along with the exposure, I like the background a lot, no distracting highlights or shadows, keeps the drop isolated as it should be, nice job.

The only thing I dont like about the composition is that you have too much space at the bottom of the frame, its just empty space that does not really serve a purpose.

Lastly, the point of the nail is out focus and is a let down since its part of the focal point of the shot.

I 100% disagree with the comments about the negative space at the bottom. I find it actually adds to the feel and flow of the image. We often strive to get things well balanced in the image and think that means that we have to remove empty space. This is often the case with portraits, but not the same with objects IMO.

The angle of the object (needle?) and then the feel that the drop is just about to fall straight down plays really nicely with the empty space below.
