Backyard Critter "Challenge" (7 shots)

It is amazing how "critter shooting" opens one's eyes to "commonplace" wildlife,
which are not commonplace at all, but rather wonders to behold.

Here's a fun challenge -- just take a walk in your own yard and see how many critters
you can photograph as you wander around, then post them here.

Here's my offering, all taken within a couple hundred feet of my front door,
most taken this morning.

P.S. Those that live in high-rises, etc. get to use a park.

No restrictions, no rewards, just fun! Lee

I have to remind Danny, and our other upside down friends that don't have either, that this is a chipmunk, not a squirrel.

Damn! That butterfly shot is gorgeous. What is that Lizard thingy?

Here's a few varieties we see at our garden:

#1 Yellow billed babbler

#2 Not sure a squirrel or a chipmunk?

#3 Checkered Keelback Snake

NOTE: I cheated a little though, although these snakes I've seen in our garden numerous times, this shot wasn't taken near my house. But I guess it passes as valid as it's found nearby

Excellent idea and offerings so far. As almost all my shooting is done in the yard, you've already seen anything I would care to share. But as soon as it stops raining I'll go out and get some new stuff.
