Barn on an ominous day

Had to stop and take this shot....weather looked ominous.

Nice shot - the contrast between the barn and the sky is great. My only comment is that the building on the extreme right is a bit of a distraction. I would have cropped the image between the tree on the right and the barn itself. I might have also tried to get more of the barn in the image. Could you have walked up on the little ridge that is between you and the barn without trespassing?

It kind of left me wondering if the sky was a implant it looks like the sky and trees are in bw with the rest of the photo in color. Is that a composite or is that just how the foreground processing boost made it? just curious.

I did this awhile ago....it's not a composite but it was really gloomy like that.....I could have removed some blue from the clouds to make it more black & white but not sure....good observation.
