its a nice happy shot, i think the top of the head cut off is a shame but its easy to love such a happy face

Cute kid!! Beautiful eyes! It seems a bit soft, maybe a tad forward-focused (tips of the eyelashes seem sharpest)? Could close down just a bit to gain some DOF back. Also, there's a lot of gray tones, not much on the light or dark ends, leaving it a bit muddled. B&W tonality is very much a personal preferance and I prefer more contrast out of my images so take it with a grain of salt.
