Bazil Sands

Two weeks ago a long term hernia of mine decided to throttle itself. I was on the table the same night - it can apparently be serious but I was lucky. Now home again but photo ops are going to be scarce for a bit so forgive me diving into the archives from time to time.

Bazil Sands are on the estuary of the River Lune at a place called Sunderland Point.

Wonderful shot! I really like how the color of the boat just pops out. Speedy recovery to you! I've had two hernia repairs, so I know it isn't fun.

Thanks all for the comments and good wishes. I seem to be making good progress. The plus side is that by turning into an emergency, the hernia was repaired in short order whereas had it been just the hernia, I would have waited several months. Always a bright side.
