Just started doing HDR and took this on the first day out with my promote remote

Nice detail in the hull. A bit of chromatic aberration in some parts (the bow, gangway?).

Yes, a bit of CA (the purple color fringing seen like along the building edge), but still, for the first day, not too shabby. It sure is a fine-looking ship.

thanks guys going to reprocess this and see if I can get rid of the CA.

OP, great image for a first HDR. I LOVE doing HDR on metallic subjects.

The best way I know to remove CA is using a saturation adjustment layer in Photoshop and brush out the problem areas. ACR 7.1 isn't the best at this.

well heres the updated version I think I got rid of most of the CA and it looks better now

I like the second image much better. I think it's processing is a huge improvement. My only knit pick would be the darkness at the top of the ship. But take my critique lightly I don't do much HDR and when I do people don't like it

The bow is actually the pointy end. The gangway is actually known as the "brow".

I hate that there are those damned brick condos all over.

This is one of the most photogenic objects ever, in one of the least photogenic locations ever. The only photographs of BB-64 I feel good about taking are detail shots.

This is an interesting take, but there's still those condos.
