Bedlam

Hello all,

I answered an art call for work inspired by fonts which they nominated I chose Bickham Script and thought of words beginning B that I could make something of.

I found this pile of broken wood on an industrial estate.

I stretched it a bit using the Free Transform (Ctrl T) tool and placed it on top of itself (Ctrl J) and blended the two.

Took the original pic and did the same once.

And did the same again.

Took off the stretched ones and the originals to make three layers, posed 'en femme' in a Zentai for the figure and cut that out with the Pen tool. I fiddled with various blend modes until I got this. Seeing it for the first time gave me Bedlam, chaos with a little bit of hope looking upwards.

I use Ps13 but this could be done easily in versions of Ps from 7 (2002) onwards.

I like this, great use of color and creativity. Only negative I might have is the piece covering the face, but on the flip side it almost looks like a hand on the face, so I could go either way. LOL
