Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I've been into HDR about 2 weeks now and photography only 3, but wanted to share what I've done so far and get helpful criticism on how to make them better. I have using photomatix essentials for my merges. Some of these I prefer over others but I will list these in the order in which I did them, starting with the first one, to show progress in my abilities and understanding. The last one is my favorite right now, with the brick building being my second favorite.

I actually like the 2nd photo with the big pole taken out.

The last one would look nice tonned down a little.

The others look way over proccessed for my taste, but if you like them then thats cool.

The one with the brick building has a lot of potential with different processing IMO.

Thanks! I understand what you mean and a lot of people ask about seeing the unprocessed photo when I show these to them, which is how the second one came about. Originally, it was over processed but a single exposure was a little too bland or detail in the wheels wasn't there so I ran the process again and chose the natural tone map. The surreal effect is what grabbed my eye and interested me, but I can see the benefit with HDR in just fine tuning a good shot.

I like 2 and 5. I think you are fun with it as it is new. Enjoy.
sometimes it looks cool and sometimes it's overlooked, but fun, and hey, it's YOUR shot!
i am still not the trial version, but I am having fun too.
