Berries

I thought the image below came out pretty well, but I'm not extremely experienced with macro photography, so I must have done something wrong. Let me know what you think.

For reference, the largest of the berries is about the size of a small pea.

Canon PowerShot Pro1, 1/20 s @ F2.8. Slight contrast increase done on computer.

What is it you think was done wrong with this macro photo, Skyscraper?

DOF is all right.
Light is all right.

If I wanted to be nitpicky, I could say that I mind the bright part of sky in the background. But otherwise???

Yeah, I agree. Crop out the bit of bright sky..it's distracting.

I didn't really see anything in particular that I had done wrong, but l like I said, I'm not extremely experienced with macro and thought you might have suggestions. Little did I know they would be about composition!

Anyway, I agree about the cropping. It actually helped to center the subject vertically as well.
