Greybeard, this floral is so much better then your last one. It's nicely composed & exposed. DOF could really have been shallower, as there is so much going on right behind the flower. You exposed it at F8.0. Perhaps F5.6 would have yielded better results.

I'm not familiar D5100 if it has a preview button or not. I know that I practically wear the one on my D90 out constantly checking DOF.
