I don't think the rear shots are that good ... seeing the "face" has a greater impact.
A wider angle would be better to compliment the goats journey over the mountainous terrain ... you lost the environment, which is important.
I agree about the rear end shots, I probably would have binned those personally. #2 is really good. I think on #1 I would have cropped higher, cutting the bottom off a bit and giving more room up top, and would'nt have centered the sheep. But all good shots, these things are not easy to get close to at all.
Thanks so much guys. These were taken at Garden of the Gods area outside of Colorado Springs and I have never seen then in that area before. All of these images have been cropped to get closer to the sheep. Im adding this uncropped one to the thread for perspective. Im not a fan of butt shots and use the rule of if the animals eye is visiable and it is in all the shots
Very nice and unusual for me to see. Would love to be able to get a few shots of these. #2 and #3 I really go for and that last shot just above us. Very nice.
The one of him jumping up and of him going across the ledge I felt was part of the photo story I wanted to share. The eyes are visible but small when getting out to see the whole scene
Do you guys think I should brighten them up in editing?
