My father-in-law drove me to this amazing birding spot - Kinta Nature Park. The park is located at Batu Gajah of Perak. It was built in order to preserve the wildlife here. Some facilities were built for bird watching activity, such as a bird watching tower. The bird life here is rich, it was claimed that the park is home to more than 130 species of birds and has the largest heronry in the country on one of its islands (Source: Kinta Nature Park to be gazetted as wildlife sanctuary). The main gate of the park is closed, probably due to my late arrival, so I was taking some pictures at the other sites of the lake. Thousand of herons were perching and building nest on the tree in one of the islands in the center of the lake. The herons were flying over from all direction. The sight is simply spectacular!
