I really like the second one... it really helps the birds stand out even more because they're very contrasting with the grainy background. It also helps make the picture more interesting than the plain first one.

I really like this picture. I'm absolutely in love with silhouettes. Personally i like the first one the best, and think it would actually look really good a bit lighter.
