Jolly pictures

I like the blond with the paper camera ..1960's kitch. The scratchey, overexposed guitar image I like too.

I'm interested that you were able to upload a 692 x 1093 image, since I thought the forum limit was 600 x 800.

I love the look of b&w film. Its what I grew up using since my dad's darkroom could only do b&w!

oops... are bigger images not allowed??

I'm new here if you can't tell already!

I actually have no idea how that guitar photo ended up that way. I don't think I could do it again. I was in my school's darkroom and I think I accidentally grabbed someone else's (screwed up) piece of paper. But I think it worked to my advantage. I have a clean version as well on my website.

The blonde with the camera is me! It is a part of a series I made representing my issues with confidence I've had this year with my artwork and worrying about my ability to succeed in the "real world" as an artist.

I've always said if I ever became rich the first thing I would do is make myself a dark room! I only develop black and white myself, but I just bought some color film to use in my Lomoghraphy Fisheye and my new filters I just recieved.

I wasn't saying that there was anything wrong with the size of the photos. Some members of the forum have wanted to post large panoramas but had been put off by the size restriction. You post suggests that larger sizes are possible.

The size restriction went away at the same time we got the auto-resize thing ... which was well before you even joined the forum, so you should have been able to post any size you want from day one.

Smaller images do make the page load faster, so a lot of people still like to go by the old 800 pixel limit - but you can post any size you like... In your settings, you can set the cutoff size that makes the auto-resizer thing kick in.

OK ... Now I can't find where you can change it. It was in the User CP, but with all the recent changes, I don't know where it is now...
