I like #1 the best. #2 seems to contrasty for my taste and #3 is ok except the white vignetting which also is not something I particularly care for.

Hmm, I actually find that #1 & 3 have too little contrast.

... and yes, #2's high contrast does not benefit the subject.

Number 1 and 2 are in need of some contrast, the faded look blends in to well with the background where the white is overpowering in this case. In the third one you start to loose the facial line on the right because of overexposure and the contrast doesn't seem to help at all.
