The cat doesn't fade into the background anywhere, nice. This reminds me of my black cats we used to have; except this one is awake.

I changed the background. The cat sits atop my chest of drawers at about 5 AM awaiting for me to get the ball rolling. I took my Sony a7II to bed with me. I tested it with the flash and went to sleep. A five I could barley see him. I fired away and only one shot came out.
I used PSCC to fill in the BG. I then used curves to tweak it. My wife did not know I was going to do this and thought all Hell broken loose with all the flashes going off.
