Black Sand Beach - Iceland

I love that sky! It wouldn't be nearly as interesting if this sky were over a "normal" colored sand beach

I like it. It's interesting because absent the title, I can't tell if it's a cold beach or a warm beach. Let's my imagination decide. I also like the little guy waaaayyyyy down the beach. Gives some scale.

That small white rock in the left lower corner is the remains of a small iceberg calved off the nearby glacier that drains into this beach about 100 yards behind me.
Wind adds to the effect.
My travel partner sat in the car while I froze my fingers getting some shots.
