I've been searching for a way to offer some criticism and honestly, the only thing I can come up with, is go back and chop down the old telephone pole. Really nice!

The telephone pole is one of the things that makes this work. Old telephone poles have a lot of character and this one goes well with the house and overgrown vegetation, and it's also funny that the wires still connect to the house. What does everyone on here have against telephone poles?

My only gripe with the pole is that it extends out past the frame, so it feels somehow incomplete. I don't think I'd have a problem with it if it were so short that it ended within the frame. OTOH, I wouldn't want the photo to be re-oriented to a portrait just to get the pole in.

Again, just my $0.02, and since I'm giving it out for free, you can take it for what it's worth.

That would be an easy enough fix but not sure it needs it...but I am sure I'll do one just to see.

I Tried it and it really doesn't help and actually, I think it sort of looks "faked" too much.

Kidding - it really is an excellent photograph. I love the colors and composition.
