I believe that is a scrub jay of some type. Western maybe? :thumbup:

backyard birds are fun to shoot, but you need to try some different angles, the composition here does not work for me... if you know where the birds will be, try to set up a ladder, sit on the roof, climb a tree..get a different angle, standing on the ground pointing up is amateur hour, get creative and get that shot that nobody else wants to put the effort into getting
