The negative space here really works IMO. A very nice story and the glare is great too

To my mind, that space is not negative, but (quite necessary) context.
And yes, I also like the glare as it suggests sunny weather (if that hadn't been suggested by the blue sky, too ). But the sun seems already low in the sky - nice to be seen.

Thanks all for looking, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I liked how simple this was and that the ropes from the kite showed. The color gradation between the sky and ocean also pleased me.

These sailors are out all day on a nice day and I had never seen them before.
