Body or lens?

Get the 70-200 f/4 IS. You will be very happy.

Thanks alot, I did that , its in the mail, coming thursday. My next purchase is a 50mm 1.4, going to sell my 70-300 canon for it, anyone have any advice whether i should go sigma or canon?

Ever since I picked up a camera, all I ever heard was "Lens is King". I started off with an XTi last year with an 18-200mm OS sigma. I was in nearly the same debate as you are when I borrowed a friends 70-200 IS USM and his 85 f1.2

I was really happy for choosing a pro lens over a pro body. Pro lenses hold their value over pro bodies for a reason... because "Lens is King" XD

You could easily buy a 5D classic with that much money. I must say the photos I take are soooo muccccch better when I use the 5D. When I paired the 70-200 f/2.8L IS with my T1i, I still see a lot of noise even at ISO100 when I zoom it in. Get a 5D.. youll be happy. Its not that bad buying a 5D now because it has dropped quite a bit.
