Bogen-Manfrotto 055MF4 4-Section Tripod

Has anyone had experience with this tripod? Does having the forth extension make it any less stable? It's about 4 inches shorter, when collapsed, than the 055MF3 which is 25:thumbdown: inches long verses 21:thumbup: inches long. Costs a tad more:thumbdown:, about $40. Thanks, TJ

Is this for studio or field work? I ask only because if it's for the studio, lightweight is not necessarily the answer.

The specs seem quite good as does the reviews on B&H. I would love to have a CF tripod for field work. I have the 055PROBX legs and am happy with them. Your selection is probably very nice and capable.
