Booked our first wedding gig

YAY!!

Awhile back I asked about advertising..... after reading your comments and talkin to friends. I didnt bother using theknots.com and just find whatever free listing I can get on. anyway, I booked my first wedding gig today. YAY!!!! It was an online service I found that I thought was pretty fun to try. (www.wedplan.net)

Right now Im just happy.... anybody want to come out for a drink with me to celebrated? heheh!

thank you. wedding is not until 9/24/2005.

I do have a wedding to photograph at Puerto Rico in May 2005. Its one my close friend, so that doesnt count.

ya, I am so looking forward to that.... and a vacation out of it too after the wedding. All my closed (childhood) friends will all be there.. so its going to be even better.


I think today must be my lucky day... at least things are just moving to the right directions so far. we got two more poosible wedding interests. one of them is on May 7.... and supposed to be meeting with them this saturday. Its a scottish wedding, i think. Cross my fingers on that one.

From my other photography service I do full time daily (preschool). we got a few more calls that are interested in our service and made appointments to see us for presentation. YAY!!! one school has over 500 kids.

Met up with another couple today (gay scottish wedding)... I think we got that one too.. supposed to know by end of next week.

Is this a bit like school pictures or a more candid as they play style? You said you do this daily, do you stick with a few schools or do you have a long list of schools to do all year?
