Any thoughts welcome.

Interesting, Daniel. Looks like "old meets new that is old". Meaning: the old (and old-fashioned) broomstick is next to the "new" can, which yet is used and thus "old" and rubbish. And it seems like the old fashioned thing is about to sweep to newer one away. If you see it as a metaphor: traditional lifestyle sweeping a modern aspect (that has quickly become rubbish) away. Speaks of the fragility of the costly produced modern product in comparison to the pretty simple and old broom, which yet lasts longer and is more resistant. I really like it, it's a nice composition. :D

This one is quite appealing because of the motif (very simple) and the textures: many different, all equally clear and sharp textures. I really like that - and the black and white fits it all perfectly.

Pax is our interpretation star here --- I could never describe so well what a picture or photo might mean to me. Interesting to read your thoughts!
