I have not been to Fenway since the early '70's !! My dad took us on bat and ball days. Imagine!!!!! We used to get REAL full size bats 'engraved ' with a players name or an official ball for every kid!!
OMGosh. That is why I am a little upset that players make $24 million for 2-6 years, and a fan who,is paying that salary can't get a stink in' ball or bat?! AND pay $40 for BLEACHER seats!!


Ok, off the soap box moderators
The only seats we could afford for 6 kids was bleacher seat. We used to take a Polaroid and send it down to Sparky Lyle in the bullpen and he'd sign and send it back up! Should have saved them. Do guys do that anymore in the bullpen?

I actually quit baseball when Alomar spit in the Umps face.
