The seagull diverted just in time to avoid a head-on collision (the sea lion had just stood up), but they touched, forcing it to perform an emergency landing! And while seagulls are not in the usual menu of sea lions, if they can't find fish they won't be picky! (The bet I was referring to is who would have gotten the better of the collision)
