Whoo, quite the beautiful sunsets here! The colours in the first are even more intense, but the tree pushes itself a bit far into the frame, and the photo is divided in two halves by the horizon. So compositionally, the second looks better, with the areas "land", "lake", "sky". Maybe a step or two back to here include ALL of the tree might have been a good idea?
