Another from a short walk between rain falls (10 inches the week I was there, another 10 inches the following week). Bromegrass is very common around here, to the point of going unnoticed. For me, the knee-high grass and taller seed stalks blowing in the breeze bring back a lot of memories. It's a key piece of summer for me.
