I think this would have been a stronger image had you gotten out front of the building a bit more. As shot, you've lost that nice angle between the roof and the side of the building. You also greatly lessen the impact of those beautiful, long windows on the composition.

I saw that building, saw the potential, but I couldn't capture it. I took a lot of dumb shots of that building!

That's photography. The process of taking a lot of dumb shots until you get it right - or learn to take less dumb shots.
But there will always be dumb shots.
