Why do so many people think their **** is still worth what they paid for it?

Canon 1D MARK II BODY <-- ONLY $2300 - Won't last long!

These sell anywhere between $500 & $800 depending on condition at KEH.

You can even get a 1D MkIII for less than that...

That's an EX graded one for $2000. Earlier they had a BGN graded one for just over $1000. Their inventory is always changing, so you have to keep looking if you want something specific.


B&H is usually overpriced for used stuff... And their ratings are usually optimistic.


And before you say anything about BGN graded stuff - have you bought any from them?
I have, and I was always impressed by the great condition it was in.

KEH pretty much underrates everything, while B&H overrates it. Just my personal observation...

I love B&H for new stuff, but they are not the place to shop used, IMO.

I've bought lots of used stuff from both of them. I don't buy used from B&H anymore unless it's just the only option and I really need whatever it is.
KEH on the other hand, I don't even hesitate to buy the BGN stuff.

I would equate KEH's 'BGN' with B&H's '8'.

Stupid people will always buy something. I once sold a video card for $390, $10 less than what I originally bought it for (this one was still in its package thanks to a warranty claim) a whole 9 months later. The card could be bought new from a store for $330.
