Nice! I love photographing butterflies. The most challenging in my garden (for me anyway), is the Monarch. They are so fast and flighty! I took so many photos last year and trashed 99% of them. I finally got ONE halfway descent Monarch shot this summer. I wish his head had not been blurry. :er:

IMO I think you should have retained the colors for the last two shots since the colors are what makes butterflies look so beautiful. I LOVE pic#1

@ No problem, Wellman; but please post that in your thread; i will be happy to see that; sometimes motion blur can enhance the quality; i like the flutter-blur sometimes

@NyLoMo: you are very much right. i did that for two reasons- it was the same one in the first; so i thought of giving it another look; again the colours in some area was blown out; so i converted it to B&W; but when i did that i loved that very much
