Been awhile since I've posted. Recently did a wedding and a portrait shot. Both for free. Shooting with a SB-600 trhough an umbrella off camera.
Liking results so far. Please C&C. Thank you!

yea, looks good. though...the 2nd seems a bit flat and not as dynamic as the first.

What do you think I should do to make it more dynamic?

Love the first one. Really a beautiful capture. Second one is definitely bland and flat. It looks very flat and could have used more light (flash). You could always try to bump in post, but look at her outfit.....all detail is lost from underexposure.

I really like the first. Very elegant. Do you just hold the umbrella out to the side? What size do you have?

Shooting an sb600 through a 36 in umbrella. Using remote ir. Try to get as close as we reasonably can. In the first shot there was barely enough light to focus, but we got it and we had flash at 1/2 power I think.
