I absolutely love the contrasting colors between the natural brown/green of the truck and surrounding trees with the deep purple of her dress. Good lighting, and overall nice work in my opinion.

is she a bit petrified? but i really like these images..... has she woven out her gown from the petals of morning glory? ;)

#1 is a nice fashiony thing. Well handled, technically solid, but not terribly interesting.

The light in #2 is not convincing at all, and the truck looks flat.

#3 and #4 are pushing it a little, but the light's pretty decent. She's a trifle hot, but not too obvious.

#5 is wonderful. You could make a bunch of technical complaints, but bottom line it's a strong set of artistic choices and she looks great.

#6 isn't as good, mostly because you're not willing to push hard enough. Or maybe the color just ain't working for me? I don't know if you CAN push color hard enough without uglifying the whole thing.

#7 is a great concept, but the weird haloing over the treeline is.. yuck. Did you jam the "sharpen" level all the way over or something? It's horrendous. Get a little more light on her face. I get that it's shadowed, and that's fine with the puppet theme, but don't cram it quite so far down into the dark.

#8's cliche, but well done.

#9 is interesting. Creepy, which is pretty much always a good thing. Why does she look so confident, the scene ain't looking so hot for the pretty girl..

Thank you all for the feedback, one the ones you don't like, what could I have done different?

In #2 you simply have too much light on her, which makes the truck look dark (relatively). It's too obvious that she's being lit with a strobe, and it looks weird. I think you're trying to de-emphasize the rtuck to put the focus on her, maybe? That's reasonable, but I wouldn't do it this way. I would pull her away from the truck and use a shallower depth of focus, as you did in #3 and #4.

#3 and #4 still have a little too much light on her -- the truck is separated, let the distance and the DoF do the work, leave the light natural looking.

#7 I would tonemap much much less, so there aren't those ugly halos, and (if necessary) I would dodge her face a bit to bring it up. Shadows, good, murky depth not good.
