Hi all,
I really liked these shots and I thought the group might have some comments for me. All taken with a Sony A700, a Sigma 70-200 2.8 and PP was done in Aperture 2.0.

Thanks for looking:

The links don't work...

Jim,

You use the HTML link provided by FLICKR, you need to use the BBCode link. Click the radial button for BBCode and then repost the links. Good luck.

Sorry,

All should work now.

Thanks for the BBC clue!

For some reason, #1 is my favourite. It's just a taaaad underexposed, but I love it. Love the DOF in #2, and I think #4 could have been better if you stepped just a bit further back. But then again, I don't know where you took it, so I can't be the one to judge...

Thanks for the comments - Number 1 is a tad underexposed - I wanted the quiet gloom of the cloudy day to contrast to the almost ethereal green of the moss on the wood and the oxidation of the garbage bin.

i like #1 and #2.
#1- i think the underexposed works in it's favor. you did good setting the mood.
#2- i really like the the DOF in this one. OOF to focus/subject to OOF.

#1 kicks ass.
others need DoF.

1 is def the shot for me, I also really like 4. I tried a similar shot from the wrong angle and hated it

Thanks everybody for the comments - Rateeg, can you describe what you mean about "needs more depth of field?

I got lucky on a cold cloudy day. I thought the lighting was just perfect.
