#1: I really liked the concept and composition, except for what seen at the distance....that distracts a bit
#2, 3 and 5: the patterns are interesting, but they are almost same
#4: This is really fine
#6: nothing special, yet not bad
#7: Not sure about its composition....

7 photos for C&C? Silly rabbit that is too many...lol
You have some interesting textures going on in the shots but they aren't overly interesting. The one I like the best out of the bunch is #5. The reason is because it feels more like an abstract shot rather than a picture of a log.

Yeah, I was trying to capture the texture of that log, and these were the keepers. I wouldnt necessarily pitch all of them at once, I am trying to determine the winner

And indeed, 7 is a lot for C&C.. I will post less next time!

Tevo I do like #4....what I would like to see is the figure be opened up a bit so some detail shows. Right now he looks like a black cut-out in the photo while everyhting else about the photo has detail and texture...ust need some information on him to go with the informtaion surrounding him. What beach?

Yeah, I have that feeling also. However I still want to maintain the silhouette to some degree. Thanks for the input! And it is Moonstone Beach, in Cambria, CA

I like #s 4 & 7. It is hard to tell what the subject is on some of them. They look like tree photos buy I really can't tell. #6 seems a little bright but it might just be me. Nice work

Yes, these are fairly subjectless photos - I was mainly trying to capture the texture. I don't honestly know how to use texture as a subject, anybody have any insight?
