Thanks. Yeah, those clouds rolled in about an hour or so after I shot the cabin (it was overcast behind the cabin but sunny behind us, so the sky was blown out). You could actually see waves rolling through the bottom of the clouds that day, so we figured we'd get out while we could (there was a flash flood in the park the day before and our shoes were still drying out).
This was the scene over our heads as we scrambled to get out of the park before yet another severe rainstorm hit.

yes. not that i dont like that as well. as he mentioned with the clouds, darkening up the foreground might make the photo more unison to match the overcast but it is a really nice photo either way.

Thank you! .......and why haven't you gone yet? We're heading back down this weekend to catch the Halloween party. Of course, if you want to have the run of the parks you should go in Feb., it's completely dead then, and compared to Va, the weather is still quite agreeable.

Very nice ... the clouds make this shot. And also ... there's something ... interesting ... about the perspective and the sharpness, that I can't put my finger on, but make it a pretty arresting image. For whatever reason I want to stare at it
