Mmm.. have you tried black and white? I'm not sure the blue is giving it the effect you want. It also might do better if there where a little less light so that your one side is darker and the mood is set a little more. Just my opinion though.

one thing is - i would crop it a bit at the bottom and add a bit at the top.The second option is a square crop maybe?
